Looking for thermals over Lake Pillsbury, California.
Hull Mountain is by the lake. It has some serious hazards and is for advanced hang glider pilots only. Paragliders not recommended because of the flat glide needed to clear the rock fields just below the take off area and some serious areas of sink and turbulence. Talk to the local flyers before flying to find out about the serious hazards. There is a dirt strip airport by the lake and lots of flat area around for landings. I used to fly my ultralite there and it was great.
